These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ZestSSH (the "App"), published by Affluent Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

By downloading, installing, or using ZestSSH, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
ZestSSH is a cross-platform SSH client application for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux that lets you connect to remote servers via SSH, Telnet, Mosh, serial console, and local shell; manage SSH identities and keys; transfer files via SFTP; configure port forwarding tunnels; monitor servers; automate SSH commands (Automation Engine and Workflows); save and manage command snippets; and keep your configuration in sync across your devices with end-to-end encryption, either on storage you run yourself or on our hosted ZestSSH Cloud backend.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App, and you must be an adult, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to make a purchase. By using the App you confirm that you meet these requirements.
You agree NOT to use ZestSSH to violate any applicable law or regulation; gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data; distribute malware or engage in any form of cyberattack; or interfere with or disrupt any server or network.
ZestSSH is free to download and use. Two optional products are sold as one-time, non-recurring purchases. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no per-device fee.
Prices are shown in US dollars before any taxes the store or payment provider applies, and may differ by region and platform. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a purchase you have already made.
Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for the mobile apps, and by Stripe for purchases made on zestssh.com for the desktop apps. We never see or store your payment details. A purchase is linked to your ZestSSH account (or, for mobile store purchases, to your Apple ID or Google account) so that it works on every device you sign in on, and we keep a record of which products your account owns for that purpose.
"Lifetime" access to purchased features means the lifetime of ZestSSH as a product, not a fixed calendar period. All updates and improvements are included at no additional cost.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are refunded under those stores' own policies; request them from Apple or Google. Purchases made directly from us on zestssh.com (processed by Stripe) may be refunded within 30 days of purchase: email [email protected] from the address you bought with. Refunding a purchase removes the features it unlocked. Nothing in this section limits any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
The free version includes unlimited saved connections, up to 4 concurrent sessions on desktop and 2 on mobile, 3 terminal themes, SSH, Telnet, Mosh, serial and local shell access, SFTP, command snippets, the server monitor for up to 5 hosts, encrypted local backups, and sync to storage you run yourself. We may change what the free tier includes in future versions.
Sync encrypts your configuration on your device with a key derived from your sync password before anything leaves it (zero-knowledge encryption). We cannot access, recover, or decrypt your synced data, whether it is stored on your own backend or on ZestSSH Cloud. If you lose both your sync password and your recovery key, your encrypted data cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. ZestSSH Cloud is provided as an online service; we work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may suspend or discontinue it with reasonable notice, in which case you can move your data to a backend you run.
ZestSSH, its design, logo, and all associated content are owned by Affluent Labs. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or professional purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
ZestSSH is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. SSH security depends on proper server configuration, key management, and network security, which are beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Affluent Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, unauthorized access, or security breaches that result from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App or to ZestSSH Cloud if you materially violate these Terms. A licence you have paid for otherwise continues for the lifetime of the product as described in section 6.
We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes we will show a notice inside the App the next time you open it and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after a material change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington, and you consent to venue there. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Affluent Labs about the App. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of the ZestSSH product. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
